Malachi Center is pleased to partner with Sew4Service (formerly “Sewing with Friends”) to provide programs to learn to sew, as well as sewing-oriented crafting projects that are open to low-income families and members of the unhoused community.
The Community Sewing & Crocheting Open Studio is also sponsored by Sew4Service and is offered the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month (and coincides with our 2:00-4:00pm “Crafternoons Program” on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month), from 10:00am – 2:00pm. This program affords participants the opportunity to work on personal sewing or crocheting projects, with lunch & beverage provided through the Back Door Ministry at St. Malachi Church next door.
