Volunteer Opportunities

Help is welcomed year round and a variety of opportunities are available!

 

Youth Program Club  

Volunteers are needed to share their talents with the students in the after school program through planning and leading activities relating to music, karate, yoga, foreign languages, dance, theater, computers, yarn and fabric arts, jewelry making, cooking, painting, drawing, and Science one day a week  for 10 weeks 5:00-5:45.

 

Reading Buddies

Students in K-4th grade are matched with a volunteer working on-on-one assisting the student with homework and literacy activities. One (1) hour every week on Tuesday or Wednesday 4:30-5:30.

 

Family Night Meals

Volunteers needed to provide a meal for between 15-25 families - purchasing supplies , cooking, serving, and helping with clean up. If volunteers are not available to help on Family night date they have the option of only providing the meal once a month 4:30-6:30.

 

Greeter

Volunteers are needed to assist with answering phones, greeting clients and guests, receive donations and light administrative work.

 

Administrative

Create and maintain database of picture and graphic files.
