COVID-19 Information

Malachi Center COVID-19 Guidelines

Updated April 2022 with most recent recommendations from the CDC and local health departments.

Regardless of vaccination status, Malachi Center recommends, but does not require, wearing a mask inside the facility.

Malachi Center staff, volunteers, and clients should take the following steps to reduce risk of sickness.

  • If you are at increased risk for illness or live with someone at increased risk, wearing a mask in public places is highly recommended.
  • Masks are still required in many public locations such as buses, stores, and government buildings.
  • If you begin to experience COVID-19 symptoms (shortness of breath, fever, wheezing, coughing, fatigue, body aches, etc), decrease interaction with others as much as possible and take a test as soon as you can.
  • Proper handwashing is extremely important, particularly before eating, after the bathroom, after leaving a public space, and after coughing or sneezing.
  • If possible, get the free vaccine and booster (go to https://www.clevelandhealth.news/covid19-vaccine for more information concerning vaccination locations)
