Although it may not feel like it outside yet, summer is right around the corner and that means it is almost time for Malachi Center’s Summer Camp! The camp provides 50 low income children in grades 1-8 for 6 weeks each summer. The younger children focus on literacy and preventing summer learning loss so they can arrive at school in the fall ready to learn. They also enjoy swimming lessons, themed weekly activities, and field trips. The middle school aged children focus on building leadership and life skills, community service, and career and college exploration. All of the children enjoy a safe, positive, hopeful environment and a nutritious meal each day.
To make the Malachi Center Summer Camp a success we need your help – and hope you will consider sponsoring a camper:
$15.66—Provides one day of camp for one child
$78.33—Provides one week of camp for one child
$470—Provides six weeks of camp for one child
